Hi,

Can we get QQE (quantitative qualitative estimation) indicator? Some other charting systems already have this for a while.

http://www.vtsystems.com/resources/helps/0000/HTML_VTtrader_Help_Manual_1-9/index.html?ti_quantitativequalitativeest.html

I have been a big fan of QT for a while so I don't want to switch to any other charting system. I have seen QQE as a huge success in their systems. Just wish we have it at QT.

Thanks.

Interesting indicator.  Seems to be one of few not found in QT, most match up.
Can't help other than to second the motion.  Perhaps a good paintbar expert here
might come thru.  QQE does appear to share some characteristics of other indicators used in day trading.  A crosss does confirm a move change. And the length (depth/rise) are also traced well.  Major long moves are deep, while short shakes are shallow.
Think is tho that, more or less, such confirms can be seen in various tools that
you could LINK together on a chart if don't choose to follow them in pure state.
I don't see too much predictive value, which is key for active traders. Closest
usually seen comes from Williams ones.  Even then predictive value varies among
dif stocks.
In general OBV for strength of a trend, along with ADX.  And for a trading range the oscillators and maybe ST moving average crosses depending on amount
of whipsaws the stock throws, and you're willing to deal with.
Good luck.  Check back as the guys do monitor the board.
