When will you guys do a 2 days vwap ?

I know a lot of people on StockTwits who would like a 2 days VWAP. This is very very helpful.

No problem. FYI - although everything on the wish list gets seen by the programmers, they don't respond directly.

more than just a 2 day VWAP, it would be the ability to display the moving average of VWAP for X number of days on intraday charts. Right now, if you view VWAP on an intraday chart, for example, a 30 min. chart and display 3 days of data, what you see is the VWAP for the first day, then the VWAP for the second day, and then the 3rd day one after the other, not the moving average of the 3 days.

There is a way though right now to see a 2 day VWAP, or (X number of days). What you can do now is view VWAP on a daily chart and select the number of days. If you choose 2 days of data using a daily chart, you will see the 2 day VWAP. Change it to display 5 days, and you will see the value of VWAP change too.

Yeah I know but the VWAP is not as accurate as an intraday VWAP.

I would like to see it on an intraday chart because you have your eyes on the intraday chart and its easier to trade like that. You really see price action around the VWAP.

Thanks

  How about it.

This is not hard, to make Vwap adjustable to display X days.

This is very basic stuff, and a lot more useful than 99% of the indicators already in QT
